Creating a new Cellular configuration profile

View a List of All Cellular configuration profiles

To view the current list of configuration profiles a user has access to:

  1. Click on the Configurations button in the navigation panel.
  2. Select Cellular in the drop-down.

Create a new configuration profile

To create a new configuration profile:

  1. Click on the Configurations button in the navigation panel.
  2. Select Cellular in the drop-down.
  3. Click the plus icon located at the top right of the window.
  4. Select the firmware version. The appropriate configuration schema will automatically load.
  5. Set any desired settings in the presented configuration schema.  Clicking on the drop-down arrow by the name of the configuration option and hovering over the Help text will display a pop-up providing help details about that option, including any default values. Once all the desired configuration options have been specified, click Create.

NOTE: If the desired firmware is not listed, it must be uploaded onto the firmware management service, which is hosted at distro.accns.com.

 

Applying a Cellular configuration profile

To apply a configuration profile to a Cellular device, go to the device details page for the specific device. This can be done by searching for the device's MAC address in the search bar, then clicking on the MAC address of the correct device in the results. Once on the details page, select the Configuration tab, then select the new configuration profile from the Group Configuration drop-down menu.
