The AT&T U110 provides higher performance specifications than the 8300- and 8200-series AT&T VPN Gateways. The AT&T U110 supports the Telit LE910-NA V2 internal cellular modem. Key differences from the AT&T VPN Gateway 8300:

• 512MB of RAM (vs 256MB)
• Preinstalled cellular modem (US only)
• Front panel LEDs for displaying internal cellular modem signal strength
• Front panel LED for displaying internal cellular modem current cellular connection technology in use:
  • LTE  Blue
  • UMTS (3G and non-LTE 4G)  Green
  • GSM (2G)  Red (Note that AT&T has completed the shutdown of the 2G wireless network)
• Two rear external USB slots with no front USB slot
