We have leveraged the VPN Gateway to support an AT&T or customer managed router collocated with the VPN Gateway. Instead of using an analog phone line and modem to connect to the managed router, a special USB-to-Cisco COM port RJ45 cable is connected between the VPN Gateway and managed router. The cable is available from Accelerated Concepts, Part Number 440055. To access the router OOB interface, a web browser https connection is used. To login to the web interface, you need the customer defined SSL ID and password along with an AT&T Service Manager ID configured to have additional OOB authorization.
