Local LAN Alias
By using a Local LAN Alias, the VPN Gateway will support use of multiple subnets on its local LAN port. This allows support of multiple networks that overlap on the same physical network. The Local LAN Alias is centrally configured in the AT&T Administration Server. By default, devices using the Local LAN Alias subnet will have access through the VPN tunnel. If this is not required, Internet Only mode should be configured in the AT&T Administration Server for the Local LAN Alias.
By default, any DHCP requests issued on the physical network will be treated as a participant in the primary local LAN subnet and not the aliased subnet. Any devices participating in the aliased subnet require a static address assignment.
